Here you can bring a bus, a caravan or a small tent.Īt friday and saturday evening there’s a big aftertrack party at the camp area, that everyone with a festival ticket can access. Those bringing their race-/track car will stay at the depot area. To get the real Gatebil experience, we recommend to stay at the camp-site. A dedicated jury are inspecting all cars in different classes attending and the winners are announced at the award on sunday. Will someone beat Team Toyota in 2019?Īt all Gatebil festivals there’s a big area for exhibition where you can see all type of cars. Team Toyota, with Frederic Aasbø as team manager and one of the drivers, has won this competition every year. Inspired from a unique drifting tradition there will be three cars try to drive together as close as they can get to each other, have high speed and make a lot of smoke as a team, not against each other as in ordinary drifting competitions. This is a fantastic and spectacular competition only at Rudskogen in July. This is a competition where all cars driving at Gatebil have an opportunity to make a perfect slide through one of the longest turns on the track, one by one! The competition in July we call ‘World Powerslide Championship’. All the cars have an international top standard, and they are giving the visitors at Gatebil a taste of world-class drifting.
Gatebil Drift Series is a professional series consisting of 25 of the best drivers from Norway and Sweden.
If you have a racecar that fits in, it’s possible to drive at one festival, as a guest driver, if you contact Gatebil. All the cars are running in the same class, side by side, making this racing series quite unique and spectacular to watch. There are all type of cars – some built in home garages with more than 1000 hp, others are professional race cars. Gatebil Extreme is a racing series with two sub competitions, Time Attack and Race, driven on all five festivals by invited cars. Drift Line: Drift as much as you like with other drift cars.
You need to register as a driver and show driving licence, attend a driver briefing and have a car in good condition (plates are not required).
